Nick Landis is a mastering engineer, consultant and freelance audio engineer in Austin, TX. Hand-picked in his junior year by Austin mastering engineer, Jerry Tubb, Nick soon became an integral part of the Terra Nova team. Nick finished his coursework and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Sound Recording Technology from Texas State University. Since then, he has accumulated over 1,500 album credits and continues to demonstrate his excellent audio engineering background both academically and professionally. Currently, Nick serves on the Board of Governors and as Vice President for The Recording Academy Texas Chapter.
As both a musician and engineer, Nick brings musicality and a complete technical understanding of every step in the recording process to each project he works on. Other interests include video games, cooking and electronics.
