Featuring KEYNOTE SPEAKER JOEL KATZ, leader in the field of entertainment law and former Chairman of the American Bar Association's Entertainment & Sports Law section whose clients include Akon, Jimmy Buffet, Sheryl Crow, George Jones, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Justin Timberlake, and George Strait as well as Billboard, Country Music Association Gospel Music Association, the TONY Awards, and many more. Katz will review the last 25 years in music business and industry reactions.

  • Micro Pennies From Heaven: The Battle Over Digital Revenue Streams Continues features former Executive Director of SoundExchange and currentSpecial Consultant Artist Relations and Business Development at Kobalt Music Publishing John Simson and Executive Director of Business, New Media & Strategic Development at BMI Michael Drexler.This panel will examine how artists and songwriters are making money from new media and explore the many complex issues that seem to change on a weekly basis in the fast-changing digital marketplace.
  • Digital Revenue Streams Part II: The Next Great Copyright Act features Executive Director of Digital Media Association (DiMA) Lee Knife and Sr. Vice President of the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) Jay Rosenthal.This panel will be a dissection of the political interests and energy regarding music policies and law.
  • What Has Technology Done For Me Lately? features Vice President of Brand Development for Austin City LimitsEd Bailey, CEO of Rockify Joel Korpi, Dell's Brand Experience Manager and Cultural Engineer Lisa Martin-Louro and Director of Marketing for ACL Live Sharilyn Mayhugh . This panel will center on a case study regarding the Austin City Limits brand and how the entity is evolving the fan experience with technology.
